Dr. Ritchie joined the SPEA IUPUI faculty in 1983. In addition to teaching courses in environmental health science, she is chair of the Environmental Quality committee of the Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition and is co-founder of the Indiana Environmental Health Summit.
